05.10.2023 > 26.11.2023
Opening on Thursday, October 5, 2023, starting at 5:00 PM
Palazzo Birago, Turin
The contemporary art event that unveils and brings to life the most beautiful courtyards in the city of Turin is back. From October 5, 2023, to January 6, 2024, the courtyards and gardens of historic Turin palaces, ranging from Baroque to the 20th century, become open showcases for contemporary art and the public, in a dialogue that promotes today's art and reinterprets the past in a new light.
An invasion of artworks will involve over 35 artists, occupying the city of Turin in locations scattered among courtyards and gardens, sometimes not accessible to the public, to experience everyday environments in a new vision or discover treasures hidden behind the walls and gates of the most frequented streets. In addition, an exhibition on the first floor of Palazzo Birago, the institutional seat of the Camera di Commercio of Turin, gathers a nucleus of works that serves as a stop on the city's visiting map. A showcase of national and international art that reveals the city through new perspectives to enthusiasts, citizens, and tourists.
Arte alle Corti will be inaugurated on Thursday, October 5, starting at 5:00 PM at Palazzo Birago (at Via Carlo Alberto 16). On that occasion, at 9:00 PM, the art reading The real places are never real by Gian Luca Favetto and Leandro Agostini will be presented.
