CONNEXXION. Festival of Contemporary Art returns to Savona, an event aimed at bringing new light to the most significant places in the city of Savona, reinterpreting its historical and artistic heritage and intertwining it with the visions of present-day artists. Realized with the contribution and patronage of the Municipality of Savona, the support of the Liguria Region, and the Agostino De Mari Foundation, the second edition of the Festival presents a completely renewed structure, with two important development moments, coinciding with the opening and closing of the event, and exhibitions that can be visited for five months at Fortezza del Priamàr.
Two exhibitions will open the event: "Fragments. Acts of conservation for a future of freedom," curated by Livia Savorelli and Matteo Galbiati at the Archaeological and City Museum of Savona featuring works by Roberto Ghezzi, Alberto Gianfreda, Laura Pugno, Attilio Tono, and Ivano Troisi; and "Dialogues around freedom," curated by Livia Savorelli at the Sandro Pertini and Renata Cuneo Museum with works by Elena Bellantoni, Davide Dormino, Rocco Dubbini, Armida Gandini, and Gianni Moretti.
