Fucking Good Art (best students hungry dirty lesson) was born from a simple, convivial gesture: a lunch.
On September 6, 2025, U-Art-P invited Marco Cingolani – the Professor – and twelve artists, his former students from the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin and the Accademia di Brera in Milan, to gather around a table at the association’s headquarters, The Place, in Bergamo.
Between dishes, notes, and memories, the conversation turned into a true multi-voiced lesson: painting, irony, memory, the long time of learning, and the freedom that comes from shared work were discussed. From that encounter, the exhibition took shape, curated by Antonio Grulli with the collaboration of Manuela Parrino, bringing together the works of Marco Cingolani and his students: Andrea Mastrovito, Eleonora Mariani, Emilio Gola, Erik Saglia, Ermanno Brosio, Gabriele Napoli, Giorgio Bernasconi, Marco Paleari, Marco Pio Mucci, Martina Cassatella, Roberto De Pinto, and Victoria Stoian. A project reflecting on the value of transmission, community, and artistic practice as a collective gesture. Fucking Good Art thus tells the story of the continuity of dialogue between master and students, across generations and languages, where painting once again becomes a way to be together, question, and grow.
