Centro de Arte Alcobendas

The exhibition presents a selection from the Oliva Arauna collection. Since the 1980s, with the opening of her gallery, Arauna began acquiring works that offered a different way of seeing and thinking, always oriented towards artists of her generation for their particular perspective on contemporaneity. In her collection, there are works of all kinds, although photography, video, sculpture, and installation predominate. In the exhibition, one can perceive the adrenaline of discovery and the thrill of blind bets, which led to the formation of a collection not based on the market but on personal preferences.
